Allergic Reactions Can Be Caused By Just a Little Exposure
Many people that are unfamiliar with food allergies have the misconception that it takes a lot of exposure to an allergen to evoke an allergic reaction. This is not the case. A severe allergy can trigger a reaction as a result of flour dust, peanut shells on shoes, a trace of milk in the bottom of a glass, or just a drop or taste. It makes life downright difficult sometimes, so please don’t think that we are overreacting.
